Topsail Island

Topsail Island (pronounced Top-sul) is best known for its laid back family atmosphere. It also hosts a sea turtle preservation center and leads conservation efforts for those sea turtles. Loggerhead turtles come ashore to nest throughout the summer and into the fall all along the shore line.

Topsail allows dogs on the beach year round. Between September & May they can even be off leash. Topsail is known as being one of the quieter beach destination areas in North Carolina, so enjoy your time relaxing with family & man’s best friend.

Topsail is an island paradise known for its laid back atmosphere & clean, uncrowded beaches. There’s plenty to do, or just simply relax & recharge. Unwind walking on the beach searching for shells & shark’s teeth. Or rent a kayak or surfboard and hit the waves, or simply spend the day soaking up the sun and ocean views. Keep an eye out for the pelicans, crabs, and the dolphins. But, the most important thing is, just enjoy the peace and quiet.
