4 Stars – Great stay!

We had such a nice time during our stay. The property was great and my kids loved the pools! I have an age gap and my littlest loved the 3foot pool so he could swim on his own with out swimmies and my oldest loved the big pool with the deep end. There is another pool that goes from 3.5 to 5ft right next to the hot tubs so if mom and dad want to relax they can still keep an eye on the kids!

The restaurant on site, Splash by the Sea, was surprisingly good! And it was nice to put your name in and go finish getting ready in the condo and not have to wait for an hour entertaining hungry kiddos. We were also close to the Pier which also had casual breakfast lunch and dinners. Also, very good!

We got to see baby sea turtles hatch just a quarter mile from the villa. So it was a pretty magical trip for us and the kids!

The only thing I would suggest is that the condo could use a good clean. I think we were here towards the end of the season so it’s to be expected.
I would also suggest looking into umbrella rental companies in the area in advance. They book up fast and take week long reservations. We were out of luck by the time we figured it out.

This unit was big, clean and modern. We had a crew of six adults and a one year old and we all had plenty of space when we needed it and a great upper gathering room when we got together for meals or games. The hosts were very good communicators and checked with us to make sure we had everyone needed for a good stay. We’ll come back and stay here again!

Wonderful place just a short easy walk to the beach (no roads to cross!). Everything stocked in kitchen for you need to feel at home and all the amenities you need for fun days at the beach (chairs, umbrella, wagon, towels!). Owners were VERY responsive and accommodating to have an extra family pup be on site. There are a few items to note out of the control of the owners – there is construction in the area, it can be loud at times, hopefully this will be done soon. The decks are facing the main island road, which also can be loud. Even with these noises I would highly recommend.

We had such a wonderful time! The townhome was perfect for family time, is fresh, clean and so thoughtfully appointed. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could want ( including crockpot, blender, hand mixer), and homey touches throughout (wagon to take things or children to the beach, games, beach chairs and toys, ample linens and towels). We loved sitting on the deck.
Communication was excellent and the process very smooth.
Thank you again for the use of your lovely place. We hope to be back.

5 Stars – Perfect beach house for family

Tami & Jim’s townhome was perfect for my family’s beach vacation in Surf City, NC. The house was a very short walk to the beach, and a short drive or bike ride to the main part of town.

The townhome was stocked with linens, bath towels, and beach towels. Additionally, they supplied a beach umbrella, beach chairs, a beach wagon, and 2 beach cruisers.

Tami & Jim were easy to communicate with via Vrbo and replied within a brief time period answering our questions.

I would use their facility again.
